Semen goes into your womb.

Salt water goes into your stomach.

The ideal way to prevent pregnancy to use condoms and contraceptive pills.

And if it was just an unplanned sex, to simply use Emergency Contraceptive Pills- usually within the first 72 hours after the sex. Anything after that time, it’s too late.

Now, even contraceptive pills specifically designed to prevent pregnancy have failure rates.

That means they can fail in a few cases.

But somebody is relying on salt water. Or hot 7up and alabukun (a painkiller).

See ehn when the time/conditions is right, that baby will show🤣

Postinor is a drug.

Salt water is not.

Postinor contain hormones that prevent a woman producing eggs & thicken mucus at cervix-

So the sperm and egg don’t meet to cause a pregnancy.

To People that take hot 7Up and are sure it will certainly prevent pregnancy:

Come first I have just one question.

Why not the cold 7up? 😂

Is it that the heat from the hot 7Up will make the sperm/baby uncomfortable it will run out of your body for fresh air? Or what?

And to those who use Ampiclox immediately after sex:

Ampiclox is an antibiotic. An antibiotic is used to fight an infection. I’m trying hard not to laugh here, but sperm is not an infection .

So that Ampiclox will enter your system and be confused on what to do 😂

And in a few months, when you miss your period and get pregnant, you blame the pharmacist or the brand of Ampiclox you used.

And actually using antibiotics as contraceptives is as good as using Usain Bolt as striker in a football game.

But you have gone to fight your pharmacist 😂

To those that drink alcohol to prevent pregnancy:

No I didn’t forget you😂😂

Some will even be specific and say “small stout” or “sachet gin”, I have good news for u.

Alcohol will help your body relax so well after the sex, so that the new baby can settle down and feel at home .

And in case you think I’m playing about this, here’s another testimony.

While we are laughing, lmao-ing and lol-ing on this thread, let’s not forget this is a real issue out there and this information as simple as it looks can save you from heartache of an unplanned pregnancy.

And to those that quickly rush to the toilet to wash inside the vagina after sex:

See, when a man pours semen into a woman, ALL it requires to be pregnant is for just ONE sperm- that you can never see with ur eyes- to enter the cervix and meet the egg somewhere in the tube.

Once you have unprotected sex and the man ejaculates inside you, you must use Emergency Contraceptives within 72 hours for peace of mind.

Washing the vagina immediately won’t save you, cos the sperm travels fast. And even if you use a hose, it can’t reach the sperm. Too late.

Obviously I can’t address every single thing that people ignorantly try because they don’t want to get pregnant, but one thing I can tell you is your chances are higher if you stick to myths like beer and salt water.

If you are sexually active, use contraceptives.

Everybody has different things that works well for them. So the best bet is to find a Family Planning Clinic around you, speak with them, they will tell you what option is best for you.

And if it was just an unplanned unprotected sex, use an emergency contraceptive pill within 72 hours.
