Dear lady, Spirituality should NEVER be out of place in your relationship. It is better to be 'too spiritual' than to be too carnal. You were loving up on God and enjoying your intercourse with the Holy Ghost before love found you. Ignite the fire, you need it more than ever before.
A Godly relationship is not just about the lovey dovey thing. How you make each other feel is important but how you two makes the Holy Ghost feel is more important. The Holy Ghost can find expression in your relationship if you allow Him. He is so much interested in your relationship and wants you two to put 10 million to flight!
You can turn your relationship into fellowship where you and Unku can wrap up yourselves in the Holy Ghost, lost in the love of God. It is OK to call your man on the phone at night to ask about his day. But have you tried calling him in the cool of the evening requesting that you pray together in the Holy Ghost for thirty minutes? Try it and thank me later.
Marriage is spiritual. Lay the foundation of your home on Christ the solid rock. Let the devil know that you two are coming. If you cannot do these things now, you will find it difficult to do them in marriage. Even in little things, never take a decision until the Lord has spoken concerning the situation.
Give God the honor of allowing Him be at the centre of your relationship. Make him the author and finisher of your union. Relationship is SWEET when it is done God's way. Pray together. Fast together. Study together. Interceed together. Spread the gospel together because you are laying a foundation!
Some ladies think it is only those who are getting married to Pastors that should worry themselves about spiritual things in their relationship. No ma! Have ye not read that "as many who are led by the spirit of God are the sons and daughters of God"? You are a daughter of Zion and it is expected of you to honour the Lord with your relationship.
